'One decision can change your life forever'
One decision can change your life forever.......and that decision was made 29 years ago when I took part in my first Taekwondo class in 1987.
My achievements have included competing in numerous local, state, national, international and commonwealth competitions in both sparring and poomsae. My dreams became reality when I competed in my first Commonwealth Tournament and became a Gold Medalist. I have also competed in Australia’s 1st Olympic Weight Division Championships and did so proudly. I was then chosen to participate in the rehearsals and pre-fights for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. I was also awarded a Commendation from Kukkiwon (The World Taekwondo Headquarters in Korea), a most prestigious award!
Over the past 20 years I have been teaching students as young as 3 years of age, where I have watched them grow and develop new skills from white belts to black belts. I have coached many students at a variety of tournaments including local, state, national and international championships just to name a few.
Taekwondo has taught me to be respectful, disciplined and confident in my daily activities. It has helped me distinguish my goals in life and made me the person I am today.
Taekwondo has shown me that I can make a change in my life and in other peoples lives, all it took was for me to learn the art and to discover the passion of Taekwondo.
One decision can change your life forever - why not experience that today.
